On Wednesday 20th October we traveled up to the Bicton International for Jacko and I’s last event of the 2021 season! The weather on a few of the days definitely was not on our side, so I was very grateful to have packed both my burgundy and navy Equidry's and grey hoodie to stay dry and warm. They definitely did the job!

On Thursday I had dressage, we were the first to go in our section and he went beautifully producing a great test for a 32.8 in a harsh marking section leaving is in second after both days of dressage.

Then on saturday we had roads and tracks, steeplechase and cross country! He was incredible for all phases being very eager and went clear inside the time meaning we stayed in second for showjumping on Sunday.

Sunday morning we had trot up which we passed and got some compliments from the vet and judges! we won best turned out, out of around 120 people which was an amazing feeling and i couldn’t stop smiling. (Can spot a few equidrys in our trot up photos which kept us from getting soggy and dirty!)

He was a little tired for showjumping meaning he ran onto fence 6 and just slightly tapped it meaning we had a pole down but because there was a big gap between 2nd and 3rd meant that we didn’t knock down a placing… so for our last event of the season we finished second!! we were very very happy that we finished the season on such a high and we can’t wait to get back out next season!!

I really couldn’t thank equidry enough for all the support and the waterproof coats as they have come in so handy for early mornings, warmups and just in general!!
